Not what they say they stand for: they do not stand for our democracy; they do not stand for the Constitution; they do not stand for the rule of law. What exactly do they stand for?

Alexander Hamilton, the first US Secretary of the Treasury, one of the Founding Fathers, said: “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”. Again, what do Republicans stand for?

For a very longtime, the country as a whole, Republicans and Republican leaning individuals in particular believed and accepted at face value that the Republican Party stood for something. The Republican Party website (gop.com) claims a list of values: family values, moral values, personal responsibility, fiscal responsibility, Christian values, any and all of which would get any average intelligent individual to scratch his head in light of the behavior and actions its members (Legislators, Leaders and constituents) have displayed and adopted in the past 2+ years.
