Not what they say they stand for but what they actually stand for. Per record, they do not stand for our democracy; they do not stand for the Constitution; they do not stand for the rule of law. What exactly do Republicans stand for?

Alexander Hamilton, one of our Founding Fathers, said: “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”.

To understand the Republican Party, one must learn to separate “the leaders” (elected officials, business professionals, entrepreneur, spirituality, religion) from the supporters. The distinction is not small and, it is important. Leaders are for the most part self-serving, masters of deception and highly unconcerned about consequences to their supporters and the country if their actions would help their personal interests (secure campaign finance, get re-elected, etc.) This pursuit of self-interest renders it impossible for most Republican leaders to abide by the oath s/he took to defend and protect the Constitution, to uphold the letter of the Constitution.
