If you are sick, don’t go to the hospitals.
DO NOT go to the hospital! That is worth repeating.
What you are about to read is not the script of a movie. It is an experience I just had which began when I started to feel some weaknesses in my hands and legs. A subset of my experience in the hospital is provided below. Both the name of the hospital and the doctors are withheld here because it is my intent to provide a full detail – day by day, hour by hour – explanation of what happened during my stay in the hospital.
I walked into a hospital with diplopia, difficulty swallowing, weakness in the hands and legs; two weeks later, I was discharged, walked out of the hospital with diplopia, difficulty swallowing, with still some weakness in the hands and legs. In addition, I had an old ulcer that flared up which almost took my life while in the hospital, despite having mentioned it not once or twice but to every doctor that stopped by my bedside.
