According to previous research, the origins of the 1918 H1N1 virus are France, China & the United States, Kansas more specifically. Further studies suggest the virus couldn’t possibly originate in Europe, which leaves – drumroll – China and the United States.  The rift between US and China over Covid-19 feels more like the trailer of a sequel of the most horrific movie ever played on the world oversize screen.

Ironic, isn’t it?

With Donald Trump as president of the United States, the world is forced to go through one of the worst crisis in modern time, the Coronavirus crisis without any leadership. It’s much worse than stated here. It’s not just that leadership from the United States is lacking, the president of the United States has contributed to exacerbate the situation by harassing China, snubbing close allies, fraying alliances and antagonizing everyone else including the people of the United States. His childish behavior has triggered reactions that are at best detrimental but overwhelmingly dangerous to the world. Other high profile officials including Heads of States in UK, France, Germany, Australia (and other countries) have jumped on the “blame China bandwagon” for Covid-19 the world is still busy trying to contain. Wrangling cannot possibly help.
