From “feel the burn” in 2016 to “fear the burn” in 2020, Bernie Sanders’ brand has gone through some serious turbulence but one aspect remains unchanged. In 2016, many who had embraced Bernie, many who would have picked him over Donald Trump were very disappointed their candidate of choice did not make it all the way to the Oval Office or at the very least to the nomination of the Democrat Party; they became sorely angry when it was revealed the system – at the very least in the higher echelon of the Democratic Chair – was rigged against Bernie Sanders.
