As such, members of the Republican Party and any individual who wishes to convey the adoption of what’s perceived to be good virtues and principles are almost always inclined to identify themselves as belonging to the Republican Party. And because Christianity is the epitome of great values, good principles and virtues, most Christian – and people who believe they are – are inclined to identify themselves as Republicans. For several decades, it was the only aspect of the Republican Party which had remained unchallenged openly, for obvious reasons. It would be unwise to argue against good principles or moral values or family values. Even people who may not live by any value would be hard pressed to keep those important values from their offspring.
