Fellow Republicans, your argument that it was okay for Trump to betray the country because Democrats would have done the same thing is not a defense. It is confirmation of who Republicans really are. The PATRIOT clothing does not fit any of you.

As it should be obvious, Democrats do not grab a bullhorn to claim they are patriots; they live like patriots; they act like patriots because they are indeed patriots. Republicans on the other hand who want to portray themselves as patriots and use every opportunity to say so have yet to prove they’re anything but. So, you see fellow Republicans, Democrats would not have done what Republicans did because Democrats value our democracy more than a political win.
