As of this writing, a nominee for the Supreme Court has been caught lying under oath, making up stuffs, and was possibly the perpetrator of sexual assaults and yet more than 40% of the population would still want him on the Supreme Court.

We have lost our way; the country has lost its way. Even those who’ve clamored unwavering support for the nominee would not have hired anyone with such dubious character. We, as a country, have lost our way.

The State of the Republic has never been that weak.
