Once settled in Washington, Mr. Trump quickly realized he couldn’t do it alone; the “annoying” Legislative Branch must be dealt with; so, he needed the GOP idiots in Washington to implement his plan and exploit the country. He wasn’t wrong.
From spineless and self-serving individuals like Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham who have screwed their constituents to low-life like Devin Nunes, Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, Trey Gowdy who have volunteered to help to undermine our institutions, Donald Trump knows how to spot crooks like himself. As if it was written for the United States to flail down in history, Mr. Trump found all the crooks, self-serving individuals he needs to pursue his plan of exploiting the country.
We, members of the media, have blamed the problem on politics; we have given the situation the country is in “beautiful” labels to explain away what we have failed to understand or don’t care enough to figure out. But it’s not politics, and it’s not just Donald Trump.
It’s what it has always been, especially in the Republican Party: the pursuit of selfish opportunities, even to the detriment of the country.
