The answer is more complicated than the question is simple. Many have tried to offer a perspective on the many factors which may have contributed to the erosion of what We Patriot Americans have always cherished through the centuries. The main cause of the devastating damage to our democracy has been hiding in plain sight, at least for the past two decades; it’s the spread of false information nurtured mostly by dissatisfaction in our government and the exploitation – by unscrupulous and greedy executives – of the ignorant, the naïve and the gullible.
