I joined the millions of Trump’s supporters and his attorneys to advise the president he should avoid for as long as humanly possible to grant Mr. Mueller an interview. This is not a strategy to send the Special Prosecutor away; at any time, he may decide to issue a subpoena for Trump to appear in front of a grand jury. Despite the sword of Damocles dangling over his head, Trump would be wise to postpone the interview with Mueller indefinitely, well until he is subpoenaed. Here is why.
