Today, it’s very easy to blame the widespread racism in the Republican Party on Donald Trump; after all, since (and even during) his announcement for the presidency of the United States, he has embraced a platform of racism and promoted it throughout his presidential bid. He received (and didn’t reject) the public endorsement of David Duke, the (Ku Klux Klan) grand wizard; in addition, his campaign received and accepted campaign donations from White Supremacist groups
As president, – even in his inaugural address – he openly praised radical groups like the Ku Klux Klan, criticized, chastised and insulted every demographic which is not white.
So, it’s understandable why most Americans (who have the ability to rationalize) would think Donald Trump is responsible for the state of racism in the country. Ironically, Donald Trump is simply the face (and the voice) of the millions of Whites who are as (or more so) racist as their spoke person Donald Trump.
