Is Govt Shutdown As Bad As It Sounds?

No amount of protests ever moved Legislators to do anything on behalf of The People; they religiously used the constituents for their own selfish political career; they lie to the voters and make promises they either cannot keep or never intended to fulfill. The SHUTDOWN is refreshing, very refreshing indeed; at the very least, it gets your attention. It gets everyone’s attention. It forces The People to think – even for a short time – of several possible ways to solve the current problem in Washington, and possibly others in the future. In my book, that is definitely very good for the country, for the constituents and very likely for future generations. We need more of those.
