The Republican Legislators – you elected to represent your interests in Washington – declared in one voice after the Las Vegas shooting “it’s not the right time to discuss gun control”. Dare I ask when the right time is”?

The only sure way to have gun reforms in this country, and thus protect our children, the next generation, is to vote Republicans out of office. If that is not priority for you, spare me your sympathy. Don’t bother about your words of comfort. It’s a waste of everyone’s time. It’s the worst kind of hypocrisy.

The greatest ignorance is the systematic refusal to learn and the blindfolded determination to reject the truth. That statement describes rather accurately the Republican Party in general, its supporters in particular. If they believe the sky is red, they would rather wear a pair of “red” glasses instead of accepting that the sky is not red, the sky was never red, the sky cannot be red.
