That officer was not joking. As of this writing, more than 500 Blacks (425 of them were UNARMED) were gunned down, execution style in most cases, by police officers. There is no room to spin those words. Blacks are targeted, harassed, framed and killed by cops on a regular basis. They are not going to change; they don’t have any reason to change. 95% of the cases involving a police officer shooting and killing a black individual end in the police officer walking away free of any charge.

For Blacks,

• To walk down the streets is more dangerous because of police officers; it is time for the Black Panthers to re-emerge and re-claim the streets.
• The young generation of Blacks needs more protection from police officers than from gang members; it is time for the Black Panthers to re-emerge and re-claim the streets.
• Police officers are killing our young with impunity; it is time for the Black Panthers to re-emerge and re-claim the streets
• For Blacks, the criminal justice system is not a place to look for and find justice; it is time for the Black Panthers to re-emerge and re-claim the streets
• With a White Supremacist sympathizer in the Oval Officer, and an Attorney General whose past is closely linked to the Ku Klux Klan, there is not much hope for Blacks in America; it is time for the Black Panthers to re-emerge and re-claim the streets.
