The Republican Convention – Day 2

Yesterday, Day One at the Republican Convention was a warm up of things to come. No mystery! Everything was well scripted; every speaker was there to outline how bad Hillary is. They did not disappoint. You walked away from Day 1 well informed that Hillary is indeed scary.

On Day 2, after Donald Trump’s children painted their father as a perfect dad, – which he may be – as the man who has always risen up to challenges, – which he might have – and the one with the solution for everything, – hmm, hmm, hmm! – we were thrown back in a flash to Day 1 on steroid. 1) Chris Christie mustered enough strength and audacity to paint Hillary with a “criminal” brush for her use of a private email server while serving as Secretary of State; Chris should stick to standing behind Trump like a star struck bodyguard, speechless. He sounds much better when he’s not talking 2) Ben Carson, the soft spoken candidate, – remember him! – roared into weird rambling in an attempt to establish a relation between Hillary and Lucifer, yes Lucifer, you know the devil; Ben should stick to being a neurosurgeon, he is sorely needed in the Republican camp; politics is definitely not a suit for him at all.

What was missing on Day 2, just like on Day 1, was a speaker who could make a case for Trump as the prospective leader of the free world; missing was anyone who could make a case for Trump’s economic agenda for the country; missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump’s plan to ensure the security and the safety of us all; missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump’s plan to guarantee healthcare for all Americans; missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump’s solution to the immigration problem in the country (without the wall); missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts; missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump to solve the racial divide in the country; missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump to protect the Seniors’ safety net: Medicare, social security; missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump to fix the broken education system; missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump to fix the broken Justice System; missing was a speaker who could make a case for Trump to end poverty.

Missing was anyone who could make a case for Trump to solve any problem in the country; I take that back. No one was missing in the Trump’s camp. He just does not have any idea how to go about solving any of the problems in the country but his slogan Make America Great should be good enough – and it seems to be for the gullible and the most naïve – to make America Great Again. Breaking News! Slogan is not a plan; slogans are not solutions. Trump has plenty of slogans. Woe to all those who support Trump!

If you are naïve enough to support Trump and your Party leaders are stupid enough to endorse him, keep the secret to yourself and don’t try to convince others to vote for Trump. No Trump’ supporter can claim to be a patriot, because no rational mind can propose a Trump administration as something to look forward to or something good for the country. Donald Trump is a Demagogue which will endanger the nation and isolate it from the world; it is the duty of all Americans to protect the Republic from such individual.

Read A Case Against Donald Trump For President for more insight on why you should not gamble the future of the country by choosing an unpredictable and mentally unsettling individual.
